Happy Birthday to my Grandson Griffin

Yesterday my grandson turned 4 years old!!!

This is his first day of preK on 8-15-2011

When he was 2 days old sleeping with his daddy

Gosh I cannot believe he is 4 already where did the time go?

He was always smiling, always

And always giving kisses

He is a very active one and when I watched him a couple of weeks ago he said to me, "Mema You're awesome!!!!"
They sure grow fast.

Isn't this so pretty?  I can't decide where I want to put it, this is in my bathroom  I love the sweet ribbon with the rhinestone and key attached to it with the lace edged napkin tucked into the pitcher.

This is a little dark but this pin cushion is made with a votive candle holder, what a great idea!!

This card puts my creations to shame it is beautiful!!!

It's PiNk SaTurDaY!!!!

This is my 2nd post for today  :-)

I wanted to share some things with you:

I found this bottle last weekend but it had just a small ribbon so I put some crinkled ribbon and added the flower.

 I found this sweet pattern, isn't it cute?  Can you see on the bottom right hand side the price of 35 cents?  Wish the prices were like that now don't you?

I bought a 1.99 book at GW and tore the covers off it and altered it with some sheet music some lace and some rose buds. 

I finished the bottle in the back and now have it displayed in my bathroom along with:

My Brush, Comb and Mirror.

I put the picture in my room above where my alarm clock is so I see it every morning when I wake up, it looks perfect there.

Look what I found!!!

I wanted to show you some Crowns that I have found recently, I haven't decided where I am going to display them but I "had" to have them:

 When I went to get this one

I found this one and had to have it also

This one I got at T.J. MAXX and I think it was a lid to something because it said something on the tag for it but it did not have a price on it so I asked the lady how much and she said she thought it was $3.99....so I didn't argue with her and brought it home with me.

I also wanted to show some vintage lace that I found a couple of weeks ago and a suitcase.

I am sorry for it being so dark, it looked fine the day I took the pictures.

I felt so lucky that day since I never can find vintage lace and the lady told me they had just gotten it in the day before.
