I wanted to say hello and to let you know I don't want you to think I am rude for not answering any of my messages from you sweet ladies but I just moved and do not have internet yet (I am writing this from work don't tell anyone) I do spend my lunch time reading your blogs and I hope to be up and running soon!!!
I look so forward to reading the blogs that you write, you have brought so much happiness to me with your thoughts, creations, and news with your every day life.
I just love my "blogging family"!!!!

My new Treasures

I wanted to share a few things with you

First I went to Michael's this week and look what I found:

It is a little bird that is modpodged with newspaper onto a styrofoam bird and it was only a dollar!!!  It is so darn cute!

I also went to a couple of GW's and found a couple of cute things:

This cute plate and I like the back of it also

And this plate also, it is Avon and it has gold around the rim, I bought this for my mother.

This picture also I am going to put it in a frame I think it is sweet.

And this cute little bunny.

I won't be shopping for a while because this weekend I will be doing this:

Yep I am moving!!!  I am excited to be moving but I am not looking forward to moving.

I wanted to show you something I made for my BFF in California

We have been friends since we were in the 8th grade and we even got an apartment together when we graduated from high school.  We both love Betsy Clark and collected Christmas bulbs back in the early 70's.  So I thought I would make her birthday card for her this year:

and then I made her a door hanger for her sewing room:

How are you?  How has your week been?  

I want to share some pictures of my cruise

This is when we were leaving Tampa, wow it sure seems like a long time ago not a week ago :(

This is Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at the Cayman Island, it was fun we had lunch there. We were only there for 4 hours so we didn't do too much.

This is the children's play area on the ship, there were LOTS of kids and it seemed they were all having fun.

This is walking the street with all the shops.  People just waiting to sell you something!!! 

This is the other side of the street.  They are still rebuilding after the hurricane hit them.

We stopped here for a drink at Carlos and Charlies, this was a whole family on a cruise the father was having a great time!!!

These "Amigos" were playing along one of the side streets downtown

That is the resturant Fat Tuesdays, we also stopped there for a drink before we got back on the ship.  We got to be at Cozamel all day so it was fun!!!

And this is where we got back onto the ship the end of the day spent at Cozamel.

All the food on the ship was wonderful, the night for the "Captain's dinner" we had steak and lobster.  We saw really good shows the dancers were all so great, I felt like I was at a Vegas show.  We did alot of walking and we even went to the gym onboard.  I was really careful of what I was eating but then I did not deprive myself if I wanted a bite of dessert.  The crew was all so very nice and talked with alot of people from all over.  Alot of the people were from Ontario and the table we sat at for dinner there was a Mother/daughter from Kansas the daugther was expecting her first baby, 2 sisters from Florida, another 2 sisters from the Tampa area, A mother/daughter from Indiana the daughter is a EMT and is getting married in 3 months, her fiance is a fireman and they met during a class.   They will be going on a cruise for their honeymoon.

Well enough of the cruise it was my first one and I did have fun.  Already thinking of when I can go on another one.

I am back!!!

Hi!!!

I hope you are all well.  I missed you all while I was gone, will write tommorrow.  I was sick during my cruise, not sea sick but a stuffy nose and congested.  But I did manage to have a good time.
