Can I ask for your help?

Do you have a hard time deciding on which style you want your home to be?
I love my pink and frilly stuff
ruffle bedding.

I like the white decor

Ann Perry's beautiful home. Tin Rabbit blog-

I like the French decor

Vintage stack of books.

The cottage

.

So I am having a hard time deciding what I want to do with this chair.

Excuse the picture...I bought the chair at GW for 3.99 and the seat is really dirty.
So my question is what do you think I should change this seat to?
Romantic, cottage, white, or french?  Or do you have another suggestion?
I just can't make up my mind!!!
Thank you in advance!!!

I say your chair would be happy in a cottagey look. You could cover the seat in a vintage tablecloth fabric. It would be so darling. I am attracted to all the styles you like. I say mix and match is fun and if you love it, it will work.

Oh girlie,
I too have those issues and just let my heart decide. I think in the end, the style of the chair will call out to you and let you know which way to go.
It will look beautiful in any room of your home. I can't wait to see what you decided,
Char

Oh- That is such a cute little chair. I just did one almost exactly like that for SweetCheeks for Christmas (along with a desk) and I distressed the white a bit, after painting it, and I am going to do a pink and white toile seat cover with a bit of pleating around the edge. It will be lovely no matter WHAT you do! xo Diana

Hi
Such a great find.
This chair would work in different styles, so versatile.
I personally like the idea of the paintwork being a winter white, distressed but as to the seat, romantic French or country cottage, yikes what a decision.

What if you decoupaged the back and legs with vintage book pages or sheet music and went over that to tan it up a bit with stain or watered down paint. Cover the seat with an off white linen and then added an Eiffel tower stamping in the center. Or any other paris themed item. Canceled stamp, etc.
You could attache a doily,, folded over then on the back with a handmade rose.
That would combine all your loves.

I would paint it white with a cottage-floral pink/white fabric for the seat. I'm sure whatever you do will be lovely!
